CONTEST | Re-Vamping The Classic Lunchbox With Foodora

#BackToDrool with foodora

Listen, I don’t know about you – but I absolutely love the autumn. The weather is cool enough for a sweater or light jacket, but not so cold that you need your winter parka. The leaves are changing colours showing us just how beautiful it is to let go of the things that are holding us back from growth. Plus, when I was a kid – getting ready for back to school was one of my most favourite times of the year!

Bonus: I’m an October baby, so yeah – obviously I love this season!

Do you remember when we were kids and we would be prepping to go back to school for the new year? We’d get a couple of new outfits, new binders and pencils – and a new backpack and lunchbox if we were lucky.

Then school would start, and lunchtime would come. We’d huddle up with our closest friends and devour whatever it was that our parents had packed for us.

You know – the staples: PB & J, ham and cheese, Nutella (if you were really lucky), a variety of cold cuts slabbed between some good old fashioned white bread…the same old, same old.

Well, the fun doesn’t have to stop now that we’re no longer in school!

My friends at foodora have partnered with some local restaurants and are re-vamping the lunchbox classics for back to school season!

My old lunch box was a lot of cheese and crackers and a bologna sandwich!

I would use this GC to order Cluck Clucks chicken and waffles MMM!!

  2. @loucheryl says:

It was peanut butter sandwiches. Funny because now you can’t put those in kid’s lunches because of the nut allergies.

  3. September Dee says:

It was always ham and cheese sandwiches and an apple! I was jealous of my friend who had crustless white bread triangles filled with cheese whiz and maraschino cherries.

Ohhh – I remember those! The straws were the worst! LOL I’m sure they still make them…I wonder if there is an “adult” version with booze in them? 😉
