My Rock, My Sister – My Everything

Where do I start?

As a writer, you would think this task would be an easy one for me, however – I assure you, it is not.

I thought about simply posting a message on my personal Facebook profile, but I wanted to share with all of my readers just how much I adore this chica!

I have tried and tried to come up with the right words to describe my love and admiration for my sister, Teresa; the strongest, smartest, funniest, most beautiful siiiister a gal could ask for.

She’s someone I’ve always looked up to, (even though I’m taller now) as a role model in life.

Growing up, I always wanted to be just like her – pretty, smart, popular.

Now as we’ve gotten older, that hasn’t changed one bit. I can only hope to be half the amazing mother she is one day.

Siiiister – you are my rock and my everything. You have brought me back from the brink of insanity and have saved me more than you will ever know.

From our tickle fights, to me forcing hugs on you at York U even though people thought I was harrassing you; to our blow-out fights and epic make ups.

From when we cry over heartbreak together to when we laugh so hard that we cry the happy tears and make the ugly cry face – you are the solid rock in my life that I need, though likely do not deserve.

I love you, admire you, and am so thankful to have you in my life. You’re not only my sister, but you are my best friend – and I hope you have an amazing birthday.

Happy birthday!
